The 10-track collection was recorded over a month at XCX's home in Los Angeles and the UK, with AG Cook, with additional production from SOPHIE, Easy FX (a collaboration between AG Cook and EASYFUN), John Hill, Life Sim and Danny L Harle. The mixtape – voted "Hottest Song" on Radio 1's Mista Jam – is another example of Charli's cross-genre vision and innovative approach to pop culture, drawing inspiration from a range of life experiences and underground sounds.
