Edith Piaf was born in Paris in 1915 and became the “Voice of France.” She began her singing career on the streets, and her only musical education came from listening to singers on the capital’s popular radio stations. Her emotional interpretation of songs characterized the French chanteuse style, and in 1936 she began her recording career. She soon won over audiences outside of Paris. Enjoy this stunning 180-gram clear vinyl record, featuring “Non, je ne regrette rien,” “La vie en rose,” and more.
