Fleetwood Mac בשיא יכולתם המוזיקלית באלבום המרתק "Rumours Live", המתעד את ערב הפתיחה שלהם ב-The Forum ב-29 באוגוסט 1977. ההופעה הסוחפת, שנמשכת כ-90 דקות, מציגה ביצועים חיים לרוב השירים משני האלבומים החדשים שלהם באותה תקופה – "Rumours" ו-"Fleetwood Mac" משנת 1975. ההקלטה בוצעה על-ידי ההרכב של הלהקה באותה תקופה: Mick Fleetwood, John McVie ו-Christine McVie, יחד עם החברים החדשים יחסית Stevie Nicks ו-Lindsey Buckingham. ראוי לציין שזו הפעם הראשונה שרוב הקטעים מההופעה האיקונית הזו יוצאים לאור באופן רשמי. רק השירים "Gold Dust Woman" ו-"World Turning" הופיעו קודם לכן באוסף הדלוקס LIVE משנת 2020; שאר הביצועים הם אוצר של הקלטות שלא פורסמו עד כה. הלאקר (Lacquer) למהדורת הוויניל במשקל 180 גרם נחתך על-ידי Chris Bellman באולפן Bernie Grundman Mastering
