There are 2 playback videos of each side. Enjoy! Omri Smadar is considered the artist who gave new life to the Israeli music pantheon. His previous album "Collage" was the forerunner of his unique musical language: an electronic tribute to Israeli music on a contemporary level, which transfers the works to the dance arena with art, sensitivity and extraordinary musical intelligence. Smadar draws lines and notes between present and past, East and West, center and periphery, canon and fringe, tradition and innovation, all while dancing and juggling between rock, disco, oriental music, piyyutim - the genres that tell the story of our local music. The album Collage 2.0 continued the line, with an impressive list of works. After the single "Halilah" by All Things Pass by Habibi, the surprising version of "What Morning" by Zehava Ben, and "Atuf" - the ultra-groovy version of "Atuf Bar Rahamim" by Rita - the full album Collage 2.0 was released. In the new album, Omri re-embodies the works of cultural heroes and icons of Israeli music: Yitzhak Klefter, Arik Einstein, Micha Sheetrit, Berry Sakharof, Dudu Tse, Gidi Gov, Arik Rodich, Miri Aloni, Ethnics, and, as mentioned, All Things Pass by Habibi, Zehava Ben, and Rita. Collage is a project that puts the listener at the heart of a fascinating process - observation and analysis of contemporary Israeli creation. A process that begins with breaking down the work into pieces, in order to understand what it contains, what is the secret of its charm and what is the Israeli component in it, and continues with the assembly, around and with the work, of a completely new piece, which sounds contemporary and fresh with a vibe that connects to dance floors. Omri Smadar, a gifted composer, music producer, pianist and successful DJ who releases successful releases overseas, is one of the creative and brilliant minds in Israeli music today. Smadar draws from his deep knowledge as a composer and graduate of the Jerusalem Academy of Music, from his passion for club culture and his experience as a DJ and electronic producer, and in his live project, together with the 4-piece ensemble, manages to blur the line between the club and the stage every time, and create a performance that is actually a party.
